…in your constellations – The Out Album Review

The Out is an indie/alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. The band consists of Ace Mayes (vocalist/guitarist), Nick McKenzie (lead guitarist), Nick Zelinka (bassist), and Adam Anderson (drummer). They released their debut four song EP …in your constellations on July 1st, 2016.

in your con.jpgThe band gives off a very “old school” vibe. This EP was definitely designed to played on a record player. Very guitar inclusive, the instruments work together effortlessly to create a mellow and chilled-out environment.

Ace’s voice seems like it has some sort of filter over it, which gives it an interesting and distinct sound. …in your constellations has a healthy mix of soft and rock parts.

As classic as their old-school sound is, they’ll need to change it up a bit to make their sound more unique to set it apart from the others. However, with a little time The Out has the potential to grow and develop into a one-of-a-kind band.
